The Best Template for Love
The Best Template for loving others isn't self love! We are in the days of "selfies" and the "Is", the "iPhones" and "iPads". Well, could this be in part the fulfillment of scriptures, Paul said in the last days people will be lovers of themselves. (2Tim 3:2). I mean there is a craze for self love even among believers, and yes! a lot of us have become narcissistic. Interestingly, there is this interpretation of "love your neighbour as yourself" that says you can not love a neighbour if you don't first love yourself. Hence, you need to learn how to love yourself well enough, care for yourself etc, before you qualify or are capable of loving others. Hmmm! Well, was that the intention of the writer?
